Colour Effects and Filters

Places shade and shadow effects, colour effects, and blur on to the selected Character.



Selects either a single Character (places a Yellow marker above their head), or all of the Characters.


Copies the currently selected Colour effects and filter values from one Character, and applies it to either another slot on the current Character, or a slot on another Character.


Resets the Colour effects and filters values from the beginning of your session.

Configurable Random

A Configurable Random Button that applies random attributes to the selected submenu items by clicking on the spanner icon on the right, making your choices, and then clicking on Random.


1. Colour Effect

Places a Colour Blending effect on the character. There are 5 effects, the first being normal and not demonstrated in the image below.

2. Degree of colour effect

Increases or decreases the potency of the effect as per the image above.

3. Character Opacity

Fades the Character through transparency.

4. Drop Shadow effect and colour

Applies a Drop shadow effect to the character. Has a total of 10 Drop shadow effects, which extend the effect as per Tag 9, but add blur and transparency as they go.

5. Switch from Drop Shadow to shade

Toggles from Drop Shadow to Character Shader.

6 & 7. Remove Character

Both do something similar, but can’t be toggled on at the same time. They remove the character but leave the drop shadow/shader effect behind. 6 removes the character, and leaves just the outside (the visible part when a character is still present) of the drop shadow, where 7 displays the whole drop shadow.

8. Drop Shadow opacity

Increases or decreases the drop shadow / shader transparency.

9. Drop shadow attenuation

Increases or decreases the current drop shadow / shader effect.

10 & 11. Drop Shadow Length and Width

Increases the overall drop shadow / shader that is not specific to the effect. More shadow / shade overall, not just an increase to the current effect. 10 is the horizontal and 11 is the vertical. Each can be manipulated individualy by clicking on the link between the two.

12. Drop shadow direction

Changes the light direction for the effect through 360o.

13. Drop shadow distance

Increases or decreases the distance from the character to the dropped shadow lands.

14. Blur

Toggles on and selects one of ten Blur effects. Cannot be combined with drop shadow.

15 & 16. Amount of Blur horizontal and vertical

Sliders for blur distance, 15 is horizontal, and 16 is vertical.

17. Toggle for speech bubbles and breath effects

Toggles on or off drop shadow / shader effects for speech bubbles, breath and emotion animations.
